Following a redesign in 2021, the 2022 Kia K5 arrives with further additions targeted toward improving the driver experience. New for 2022 is the introduction of Kia’s new badging, along with quality-of-life features such as surround-view monitor, more wireless chargers, along with standard navigation on the GT-Line, EX, and GM trims. Furthermore, Kia introduces the GT-Line AWD Premium package.

The K5 can seat up to five people comfortably. It also comes with 16 cubic feet of standard cargo capacity. Upscale finishes within the K5 include available ambient lighting on the dashboard and doors, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, along with a wireless charging pad. The K5 comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (a 10.25-inch touchscreen is optional).

The 2022 K5 is now affixed with Kia’s new logo. Following 2021’s redesign, the K5 is now lower, wider, and longer than previous editions. The K5’s bold exterior boasts of a tiger-nosed grille that runs the length of the front of the car. The headlights stretch from the grille toward the outside corners. Thanks to its sleek lines, sloped top, and visually appealing front fascia, the K5 is a thing of beauty.
The K5 utilizes a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates 180 horsepower with an eight-speed automatic. You can upgrade to a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that generates 290 horsepower with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
