Smart Driving

Drive smarter.

As you dart through the city or escape on urban adventures, driving on today’s crowded roadways can be daunting. That’s why the Soul offers a number of innovative Kia Drive Wise driver-assist technologies like available Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) that uses radar, designed to help detect a potential collision and automatically apply the brakes in a variety of circumstances. Kia Soul models are available with a 2.0 L-liter gas engine, with output up to 147 hp, depending on engine type. It also comes with front-wheel drive.

Smart Cruise Control

Cruise control with added control. Available Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is designed to adapt to your driving environment by automatically applying the brakes, or accelerator, to help maintain a predetermined distance from a vehicle it detects in front of you and can even bring your vehicle to a complete stop.

The available Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) system is advanced technology that can help you manage the blind spots on the side and rear areas of your Soul hatchback. If it detects objects, this radar-based detection system sends out visual and auditory signals to help warn you of objects not in your field of view.

Get a little help staying alert and on course. The available Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system is designed to help you stay on course by monitoring the position of your Soul under certain conditions and may apply steering input if it senses you drifting outside your lane.
