When Will The 2026 Kia Sportage Be Released?

Kia has just officially the 2026 Kia Sportage at the Los Angeles Auto Show a few weeks ago, but when will the highly anticipated SUV be released?  The 2026 Kia Sportage is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2025. The 2026 Kia Sportage is expected to cost around $28,565 MSRP for the base non-hybrid model, although nothing has been officially confirmed by Kia as of yet.

What To Expect?

The 2026 Sportage has a new design for a more rugged look with a rectangular grille while maintaining its smooth surfaces. There has also been improved lighting and distinct styling to make X-Line models stand out even more. It is important to note more exterior changes like the front and rear bumpers being resigned, as well as the Sportage being offered with new 17, 18, or 19-inch wheel designs.

Inside the new SUV, you can expect a new curved digital display along with an optional 10-inch head-up display that can display turn-by-turn navigation. This year the Kia Sportage also gains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Wi-Fi hotspot will be optional and able to support five devices with a 4G LTE connection. Kia also implemented a Digital Key feature that allows owners to use compatible smartphones or smartwatches to remotely lock, unlock, and start their vehicle and remotely adjust the climate control.
